1. Possible jail sentence, not to exceed five (5) years
2. A criminal record
3. Mandatory one year drivers license suspension
4. High risk insurance rates for five (5) years

Everyone who commits an offense of dangerous driving under the Criminal Code of Canada subsection (1)and thereby causes bodily harm to any other person is guilty of an indictable offense and;
1. Is liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding ten years.
2. A criminal record
3. A Mandatory one year drivers license suspension
4. High risk insurance rates for five (5) years

Every one who commits an offense of dangerous driving under the Criminal Code of Canada subsection (1) and thereby causes the death of any other person is guilty of an indictable offense and
1. Liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding fourteen years.
2. A criminal record 3. Mandatory one year drivers license suspension
4. High risk insurance rates for five (5) years
